I'm starting my LR 6 version. It's a standalone version not the cloud. And it never goes past the opening screen.

I tried to use shift/alt to see if when creating a new catalog that would solve it. But it didn't.

Hi Katrin,

Please follow the steps mentioned in Adobe Lightroom GPU Troubleshooting and FAQ and manually disable the use of graphics processor in Lightroom. Let us know if that helps.
