I am using C-panel and would like to password protect a web page. I understand and tested a website that is protected by Password Protect Directories because it is in the root directory for C-panel. However; I would like a password just on the one website page, not the whole site.
If I create a folder under the root I can move a web page html to the folder and it will be protected by a password, however; Muse will not link to that page because it is out of the structure.
Is there a way to redirect a certain page in muse to update to a different directory?
Update: I think I have a simple answer.
I can create a blank page for that menu and when people click on the menu they get another button that says "enter" which has a hyperlink. That hyperlink takes them to a new website that is in the root folder and is covered under the password protect Directories.
Maybe I can just make a folder and put that page in that folder under the root.
I created a subdomain in the root folder and was able to password protect that domain. I created a button to redirect users to the new website.
Yes, Your's is the perfect solution for this query.
