When placing a multi-page PDF into InDesign, all the pages get loaded into your cursor as separate items. The first click will place the first page, the second click places the second page, etc. Placing many pages this way can be tedious, but you can use a script to place all pages in one command.
- Open the Scripts panel (Window > Utilities > Scripts).
- Follow the prompts.
Thank you, but I didn't see any option to say what percentage to place the pages in the new document.
They will be placed at the original size of the PDF.
It would be great if we could determine the import size percentage. Maybe 'fit to margins'. I'm sure most ID docs will have headers and footers that this script is not taking into account. The script doesn't really help if you have to go behind it and resize every page that you just placed.
I used a script years ago that had a bunch of import and sizing parameters that you could adjust, but the developer ended up dropping so it became obsolete.
