Is there any way to prevent users from submitting two of the same web app? Or when the user accidentally his the back button, the form submits a dual web app submission. I know there is a widget for dual membership sign ups, but is there anything or a solution that will prevent or detect dual web app submissions?

Off the top of my head; You could use {modue_webappcustomer} and liquid to check if they have already submitted an item and hide the submission form.

As for the back button scenario, here's a good place to start: javascript - How to Detect Browser Back Button event - Cross Browser - Stack Overflow

Drop a cookie on submission with some of the form data and check if it exists before (re)submitting again and if it is the same information. You could also set the lifetime of the cookie to about 5-10 mins.
