Could you scan a print and post the image?

This looks a bit like a problem I once had with an HP printer. For whatever reason, when I used "best print quality", the prints would have lines as if the inkjet has missed a line every inch or so. If I used standard or basic, no problem. The Canon I have now doesn't seem to do that.
Anyway, try different print qualities (if available) and see if the line disappear. No guarantee, but a possibility.
If that doesn't help, there are a few resets you could try.
Hold down the spacebar and click print under File > Print
With print open, hold down Alt or Opt - the cancel button will become a reset.
Photoshop preference reset:
Win: Press and hold Ctrl+Alt+Shift immediately after initiating Photoshop's startup. A box will appear asking if you want to continue with the reset, select "yes." If you don't see this, you weren't fast enough...Try again.
Mac: Press and hold Cmd+Opt+Shift then start Photoshop. A box will appear, asking if you want to continue with the reset, select "yes."
Also check that your printer drivers are up to date.
I am using Photoshop CS5 and don't have a choice of basic or standard. Also using a Mac and the File doesn't open while holding down the spacebar. Tried the reset, no change. the only choice I have is "colour, black and white basic, black and white"
I am ready to throw in the towel
Thanks for your suggestions
Some don't have quality options. Have you updated your print drivers? Other than that, I'm out of ideas. Perhaps another member with more ideas will come along. Meanwhile, I will unmark the "correct answer" since it isn't.
