Edit PDF file

I can't edit a PDF file after purchasing Acrobat pro. Adobe is telling me that I need LiveCycle? why do I need this? I just need to edit one document.

The PDF file in question is not a regular PDF file, but rather, a forms file created by LiveCycle. Such files can only be edited by LiveCyle. Sorry!
