      I'm having the same issue with a newer graphics card, is the 10 series from gtx just not supported atm?

          First, please update to the latest Nvidia driver which is v378.66.

          Also, I suggest to update to the latest LR 2015.8 if there's not a special reason why you're still on 2015.7.

              I found the soltution:

              Use nvidia global settings as profile for lightroom!!

              I changed global settings to my prefered gaming settings.

                Waren da spezielle Einstellungen notwendig oder der 'Global default'?

                Hatte LR vorher dedizierte Einstellungen welche nicht richtig funktionierten?

                Kannst Du die notwendigen Einstellungen posten?

                  I am having problems with GPU acceleration on a Mac.  I'm running the latest version of Lightroom 6.10.  I'm running latest version of Mac OS 10.12.2 (Sierra).  I can confirm that this Mac (model 8.2) has the following graphics engine:

                  All the fixes I see in this and the prior thread on this issue talk about tweaking the drivers in a Windows OS.  In the Mac OS, I have no control over driver updates.  But I have the latest being offered.  Yet my GPU is disabled by Lightroom.  Any suggestions?  Fixes?

                    I'd not care about this as long as you don't have any issues.

                    Your Radeon is a rather older one with only 1GB memory and you would probably not see any gain with it activated anyway, depending on the resolution of your monitor.

                            I ended up uninstalling and re-installing lightroom instead. That seems to have fixed the issue.
