Hyperlinks Move After Converting from Word to PDF

I have a rather long document that is edited in word then converted to PDF. The problem is after the conversion, the hyperlink will not stay in the same spot and will often move in empty spaces on the same page. Example:

Click on the link here to be redirected

If "here" has the hyperlink, the link itself would not remain with that word. Instead it would either be in the margins or in the space between the paragraphs. Is there any way to prevent this from happening? Are there formatting issues in word that cause it to occur once the file has been converted to PDF?
