We work on Adobe Acrobat X (10.1.16), and often replace text using the "Edit document text" function. We then "save as" the file as a new pdf.
From there, we drop the pdfs into iTunes, directly into Adobe Acrobat app located under file sharing.
What we find happening when viewing the pdfs on the iPad app, is that the areas where we inserted new text are blank. Some times its only one word that didn't show up, or some times the whole thing is missing the new text. It is only exclusive to the app, and not on our computers.
It affects around 10% of the pdfs we transfer to the app.
