I have CS6 Design & Web Premium. And I need to install it on my Windows Surface Pro. I have it already installed on my desktop machine and I had it installed on another laptop which has since crashed and died It will not boot or even power up.
So when I try to run any of the programs slike DW or Flash it tells me I already have it installed on 2 computer and that I need to deactivate it on one of the computers.
I've taken the laptop in to be repaired but was told I should probably just get a new laptop.
Is there some way to deactivate one of these installs through my Adobe account. Or maybe deactivate my desktop and reactivate as needed?
You deactivate the programs yourself by going to he Help menu in the program and choosing the Deactivate option.
Your better bet is to contact Adobe Support thru chat and ask them to reset your activations. Do not ask for more or get off topic or they are likely to refuse helping you. This will reset all your installations. You can then reactivate the desktop.
