Trial CC taken over my LR6!

Went to a photography workshop and was told to download CC before we arrived. I have a legitimate LR6 license. CC has taken over my LR. I don't see a way to "downgrade." Please advise.

Lightroom 6 and Lightroom CC are the same program, installed by the same installer. You cannot have Lightroom 6 and Lightroom CC functioning at the same time on the same computer because it is the same program activated differently. If you activate as a Lightroom CC thing you have additional features that are not in Lightroom 6. But it is all controlled by how you are signed into the program. Whoever gave you the instructions to download Lightroom CC apparently doesn't understand this simple basic fact. Here are instructions on how to convert Lightroom CC to Lightroom 6:
