Hello,
Have what might be a super easy question but can't seem to find the answer.
I have recently moved from Mac OS to Windows 10. I have become accustomed to using the "Help" bar when looking for features I don't use very often and I've forgotten their location, like time remapping. In mac it would map out the location of the feature I was looking for.
I have found the equivalent in Photoshop but cannot find it in After Effects. I just get links to adobe website help forums.
So is this not available with windows 10? I love my help assisted shortcuts in after effects!
Thanks in Advance,
Adam
Windows does not have Spotlight-based interactive highlighting of UI strings and that is that. It's a Mac exclusive thing.

If you you mean Help then the shortcut is F1 and it's documents online this is the direct link for those documents.
Hope will help you.

Thanks for the tip but this is not exactly what I am looking for.
I am looking for the search that provides an internal path to access various features, not a link to the internet for help. In mac if I went to the help option and typed in hue/saturation it would show me the path (Layer > New Adjustment Layer > Hue Saturation) I wanted and highlight its location. I have found the equivalent for PC (below) in photoshop, but not for after effects.

What a bummer. I was glad to see a spotlight type of interface in the PC version of Photoshop (see image in previous post), but none in After Effects. So it is in photoshop, I am assuming, but not in after effects?
Thanks!

If you would like to see it added to After Effects, please file a feature request. (It would be really handy.)

There is a search help field at the top right corner of AE that every user should be familiar with and use. I've been using AE for more than 20 years and I use Search Help all the time to check out new features and look at other folks techniques. There is only one constant in AE, there is more than one way to do everything....
