what's you online url and what needs to be done (if anything) to see the failure?
I don't think I can share the link to the .swf unfortunately. But when you click through the module (it has previous and next buttons to move frame to frame) and you arrive at the frame where the FLVPlayback element is located and linked to the .flv video, nothing shows up. But when I run it via flash player on my computer the .flv video shows up and starts playing correctly.
I was thinking it may be pathing issue, but I tried the full URL path to using only the file name and none of them have seemed to resolve the issue. I hope that helps.
I then tried to convert the .flv to a .swf and simply embed the .swf inside of my main .swf. However, when I attempt this approach using the loadMovie method, instead of my linked .swf video showing up I get a flashing Adobe Flash Player icon. I'm not sure what is going wrong there either.
without a link, i can't say anything other than you have a path, delimiter, case or file name problem (that works on your os and fails on your server).
Do you happen to know anything about the error: NetStream.Play.StreamNotFound : Adobe Flash tried to play a live or recorded stream that does not exist. Source can't be found.
I keep getting this error when I try to change the FLV content path to a path I think may work - but this error is happening no matter what .flv I point it to.
I appreciate any advice a lot, thanks.
it means your flv path/name is incorrect.
