Using Adobe Acrobat Pro DC. I need to edit a large doc and the editing function won't let me use the Gotham Book font. I've installed and validated this font in my font book, and also gone in to AAPDC preferences and set it as the default editing font, still substitutes it with something else when I'm typing... Adobe Acrobat Pro DC won’t use the Gotham print, even though it’s in my Font book, and set at default in the settings.

In order to edit using a particular font, the font must have editable embedding privileges set within the font as well as having the font installed on your system.
If I recall correctly, this font is licensed only for preview and print embedding and as such, editing a PDF file with it is not allowed.
