That's indicating you have Scroll Effects applied to the object. Go to the Scroll Effects panel and uncheck Scroll Motion. If the object is grouped, you may need to ungroup it first to be able to disable it.
Oh why thank you, and how does one ungroup an object?
You just need to select the objects and right click, If they are grouped you will get an option to ungroup them if they don't then no need to worry.
I am on a mac, and there is no right click, so i assume that will be up somewhere in the menu. Do you know where? I have looked for the ungroup button and cannot see it?
In this case, you no need to worry, there isn't any grouped object in your site. You are good to go with it.

Of course there is a right click on the Mac!
If you don't have, go to the system preferences and check the settings for "Mouse"or "Trackpad. You can configure the "Secondary Click".
Another way to right click is pressing ctrl while clicking.

I think, there are some misunderstandings in this thread.
- The dotted lines indicate the pinning of an element. This lines run to the top, the bottom, to the left or right according to the pinning, which is applied to the element.
- The vertical "not dotted" line indicates a scroll motion effect an is an active element: You can drag the handle(s) to adjust scroll motion and it changes its appearance according to the kind of scroll effect, which is applied.
