Could be something around the content-security-policy. If you manage the site which is being rendered within the iframe, you might try changing this. See the cordova-plugin-whitelist content-security-policy docs.
Not positive, but I'm not sure rendering a website in an iframe within your app is the best practice. Might consider launching the in-app-browser.
thanks very much.
Any idea on what policy would help?
In app browser - exactly the same issue.
Really confused why this is happening
Okay! So i checked console on safari developer console and it seems to try to redirect to a page in another app, I guess because it is detecting it is in on ios, but at the same time phonegap build can't open the command in the way it is.
Is there any way I can change the redirects without access to the parent iframe?
make the iframe think it is in a web browser (the in app browser is having the same effect).
Not sure of any way to fool the server ... can you modify the server?
You could do something like foo.com?no_redirect=true and have your server catch that parameter and prevent the redirect?
oh that might be a good idea, I'll play around with that. Any idea the best way to implement that? Thanks very much by the way.
Depends on your server implementation... might be a bit out of scope for this forum/thread.
