Creating a border around a text box

    NoNameNick
      Hi,

I don't know if i have the terminology correct, but I want to create a border around a block of text.

I want the border to be 'dashed', you know as if I had just pressed this button ---------- but it goes around all 4 sides?

Does anyone know how this can be done?

      Thankyou,

Make a rectangle. Set the fill to none and choose a color for the stroke. In the Property Inspector, there's a drop-down box in the third group from the left. This is the "Stroke category" (it probably has "None" showing). Click that and select Dashed, then one of the options you like. In this group of controls, you can also change the width of the stroke (it's probably 1) and the edge softness.
