Hi can anyone suggest the best way I can add images onto a Muse ecommerce website I'm designing, there will be potentially 2000 images of items for sale. We would like it to look like ebay where when you click on a smallish image it opens up in a kind of lightbox so the customer can see the item for sale better. Ive been playing around with Tooltips and Light Box/gallery widgets and have come up with some solutions but the client needs to upload photos himself and I'm wondering if there is an easy way he could just upload (like ebay). Also I need to add a shopping cart, I'm using the paypal widgets for buy it now etc on Muse, is it possible to add a paypal shopping cart aswell-how is this done?
There is no way to do it with Muse alone. You could potentially do it if you host on Adobe Business Catalyst but that would take a fair bit of Business Catalyst knowledge. Your best and by far easiest way would be to use a third party site like Shopify or one of many others and embed it into your site using one of the many widgets available from third party developers.
Thanks Brad I've looked at these options but wanted to try and keep cost down because they can be quite costly especially for up to 2000 images etc
