Site Link Check Not Working Right?

    AwesomeDigital2 Level 1
I ran the full check for my site and all of the links to my style sheets are coming up as broken.
I am positive they are correct
Any ideas what I should look at?

      Sample
      <LINK REL="Stylesheet" HREF="/genesis/style/GenesisGeneral.css" TYPE="text/css"/>

      Thanks
      Mathias

I tried search in this forum, but they seem to be having some issues with that.

on a guess- is the genesis folder folder INSIDE of this Local Site Folder,
or is it THE local site folder?

Is the local site folder defined as the one that contains the index
          "homepage" for the site?

            Hello,

The link say's that the stylesheet is in a folder named "style", which is a
folder named "genesis" which is one directory up from the folder the page is
            in.
If the page is your home page (index.htm, index.html, default...etc) in your
            root directory, that's not correct.
            Something to check.

            Take care,
            Tim

How do you figure it's one level up?

The weird thing is I know the link is right

If I click on it to fix it, then use the folder icon to find the file, it puts in the exact same thing.

I did lower case some folder names because I moved from a windows host to a unix host.

Is there a cache somewhere that I can clear out to start fresh?

Try this- click on it to fix the link, but this time change the pulldown in
the bottom of the "browse to file" dialog box from site root relative to
                  document relative.

does it now make the link like this for pages that are in the root level?
                  HREF="style/GenesisGeneral.css"

If yes- then re-read my explanation that you've picked the wrong folder
level for the Local Site Folder.

There may be something else going on-
url address to an uploaded page that dw reports this as a bad link please?

                      I honestly don't know why I thought I saw .. in front of /
Of course, the dots aren't there.

The links (On hundreds and hundreds of pages) are all correct
I know that because I can change one and the style for that page is then gone.

There may be some setting somewhere that I do not know of.

So much for using that feature.

                        Thanks for trying to help
