Weird Color Blocking on My Puppet's Head?

So, I had a fully functional animation. It's linked with a photoshop document and was synced perfectly. All the layers were working. Everything was good.

I saved my animation and it's been opened several times with no problems.

However, now when I open my file, my puppet head does not even remotely resemble my photoshop file. Everything looks like colored blocks. What's even weirder is that the colored blocks will blink and move with my head, so I know that it has to be something with the software. I've already quit and reopened the program multiple times as well as restarted my computer at least 3 times.

I'll attach pictures below of what I'm seeing.

Is the only way to fix this by reinstalling Character Animator? If so, I will be very sad.

Can anyone help?

Thanks,

Nope - you just have to relink the file!
