I am relatively new to Lightroom but I am loving this program. It seems to me kind of quirky, since it is not a simple folder browsing program like Bridge. One annoying problem I am having is that I never know what folder I am in as there is no tree or path visible like there is in say, Windows Explorer. After opening a file and working on it in the Develop module, returning to the Library module leaves me at the top of my folder structure, and I have to go hunting for the specific folder that the original image is in. Very annoying! Is there any way to correct this? Why no visible path?
Right click on the image and choose "Go to folder in Library".
Or, right-click on the image and select "Show in Finder" (MAC) or "Show in Explorer" (WINDOWS)
Also, you can use the right-click "show parent folder" option in the Folders panel to get the folder tree to look like it does in Explorer.
