Creative Cloud Continuous Wheel

I downloaded Creative Cloud to test out the free trial a while back. For the past half year the Creative Cloud icon has been greyed out and has lingered indefinitely at the top of my menu bar for my Mac. When I click on the icon, I get a continuous blue wheel that never ends, and the option to quit the application is greyed out. I am sick of having this icon on my computer for no reason. If anyone can solve this issue please help!!

Sign out of your account... Uninstall... run the Cleaner...
