Would you please send the email addresses for each of your Typekit subscriptions to firstname.lastname@example.org? It sounds like you may be using two different versions of the font files, and we can check the sync history on your account to confirm that.
(moving thread to Typekit forum)
Is the new employee working on a computer that has an activated license of Adobe Creative Cloud? If not, there could be issues with Typekit fonts.
Our subscription should be the same. We have a company/teams plan. The previous employee was able to see the triangle bullets too, but her computer was wiped clean for the new employee. I'm leaning toward more of a preferences issue and not a Typekit issue, that is why I posted this in InDesign.
Liz is correct. It was a Typekit issue. Nimbus has been fixed so if you're having this problem too, you need to unsync Nimbus and then re-sync it.
Here is what Typekit says to do:
1) go to https://typekit.com/fonts/nimbus-sans and click Unsync next to the font name
2) wait until the fonts are removed from the Fonts tab in the Creative Cloud desktop application
3) click Sync on https://typekit.com/fonts/nimbus-sans to sync them again
