I have a web page with some HTML contextual furniture
(generated from DB calls, some XML configuration etc) with a Flex
application (from SDK3) making up about 2/3 of the visual contents.
I can print just the Flex part using PrintJob and customise that in
various ways. Or I can print the containing page using the browser
However, results from the latter are browser dependent - IE7
shows a snapshot of the current Flex appearance, but Firefox3 and
Safari3 simply show an empty page area (all on Windows XP Pro).
Does anyone know if there is a way that Flex can expose
printing instructions to the browser so that the page can reliably
print content, rather like one might have a separate print style
sheet for HTML page areas?
Thanks in advance,
