Unable to upgrade Lightroom 5 to 6 with a non-US account

Hi,

I am an existing user of Lightroom 5.7.1 that comes with a camera I purchased. I am trying to upgrade to Lightroom 6 so that it will actually read my new camera' raw files. I have taken all steps required and couldn't complete the upgrade process. I got to a screen with a message "You signed in with an account associated to AU. Please sign in with an account for the US.

FYI, I am a non-US based Lightroom user and would like to upgrade Lightroom instead of subscribing to the Adobe Creative Cloud service. Please help.

If you meet the system requirements, you can buy LR6 from the following link. Wait for the full price to be displayed and then click “Buy” After clicking "Buy" use the menu options to change from Full to Upgrade; then select your existing LR product from the drop-down menu and the correct pricing will be displayed. Then simply choose “Add to Cart”

Before starting scroll to the bottom of the products page and check your region is correct. If not click "change"
