This problem started a few days ago I am running windows 10 64 bit, windows updated. I found a fix where I deleted a folder called "sl cache " and moved it to the desktop. this allowed me to open and use the program once, after putting in my serial number and then the qualifying serial number from lightroom 5 that I upgraded from. this program had been stable since dec 2016. after I closed the program and went to use it the next day, I got this same message again.
this is an I7 based workstation with 12 gb of ram and 4 tb+ of storage. its system drive is an ssd. system built in 2013. anyone have a solution?

computer and its working so I am able to do some work first. glad its still
