What link, specifically, are you referring to?  We have several links to Linux packages (.tar.gz, YUM, RPM).  Please provide exact steps to reproduce, and which version of Ubuntu/Debian you are using, including if it's 32- or 64-bit.

@kglad Flash Player tech specs no longer mention specific Linux distros (mainly due to the fragmentation of the Linux space), but we do test on Ubuntu, which is based on Debian.
