    LR fails to download


      Please help if you know what is wrong for my download of LR.  I get this error message, "allow to open "creative cloud"  my answer, yes.  Then I get this message,

      "LR encountered an error when reading from its preview cache and needs to quit. "


      However, I can't download LR and have been trying for several days. I successfully have down loaded PS and Bridge at a earlier date.


      Any one have a clue as to my problem?

          You are saying "download", but the preview cache has nothing to do with downloading.


          If it is the preview cache you are having problems with:

          Using Mac Finder or Windows File Explorer, go to the folder containing your catalog (*.LrCat).

          Delete the FOLDER named like your catalog but ending in "Previews.LrData".

          Delete nothing else.

          Restart LR and it will recreate all the previews as needed.

            Thanks for your help. I decided to go online for Adobe support and am working with them to overcome the problem.
