    Canvas / Image Shape

    Jack_606 Level 1
      Hi guys,

I was just wondering, at the moment my canvas / image shape is rectangular. How do I curve the corners so that they are rounded? I can't work it out for the life of me!

Many thanks in advance for any help, I know I'm a muppet!

      Jack.

Hi, not a muppet at all.

You can't in Fireworks. All images destined for the web have a rectangular
          format.

You can make them 'look' as if they have rounded corners, by using a clear
canvas and a rounded rectangle (or any shape) layer on it. But it will still
fill the area of the whole rectangle on a webpage.

          Peter

You could keep the background as transparent and then create a rounded rectangle. A browser that supports transparency will show the graphic as a rounded cornered one.
