InDesign forgets window size

Why does InDesign insist on opening to fill my monitor screen? Other apps like Illustrator remember the size you set the window to. I have a large monitor and am continually resizing the InDesign window to the size I want it to be, and it's a real pain. Windows version.

I totally understand your issue.

A good way to bring this to notice would be to submit a feature request at Feature Request/Bug Report Form  specifying the need of the feature.
