    Modifying Android Manifest Using Config.xml

    Web Magi Level 4

I have a very simple app (game) originally created using Adobe Dreamweaver and jQuery Mobile, and packaged for the app stores using PhoneGap Build. It's been on the app stores since 2014. Now I need to update Cordova. But Google is telling me that certain permissions are being used that I can't easily control. These are:

      • android.permission.READ_PHONE_STATE
      • android.permission.RECORD_AUDIO

I would like to turn these off in the config.xml file, but I can't find any clear documentation on how I would do that. This info appears insufficient: http://docs.phonegap.com/phonegap-build/configuring/config-file-element/

Can anyone provide documentation on how I would update the config.xml file in Dreamweaver to turn off those 2 permissions in the resulting Android Manifest?
