Indesign CC freezes when modifying the pages

Hello,

I have been using InDesign document, where I need to delete few pages in between the page count, but when I perform it get freezed.

File behavior is normal when doing some tweaks like edit corrections, style apply and other stuff.

But when I happen to delete any page in between the count, it gets freeze, and even when I change settings of "Allow shuffle"

And file gets crashed when I convert IDML

Interestingly when I delete the pages from backward from page layout it works, but I need to delete the pages which are in-between.

Document Page count: 150

Indesign CC 2015 (even tried in 17, but the same result)

any help could be greatly appreciated
