I just attempted to update LR6.  The update completed but now I'm unable to open the program at all!  I get the following message: "Lightroom.exe - system error  the program can't start because api-ms-win-crt-runtime l1-1-0.dll is missing from your computer.  Try reinstalling the program to fix this problem."

Can anyone offer some assistance?

Thank you.

Please follow the solution at the below to install the missing DLL component:

Error :api-ms-win-crt-runtime-l1-1-0.dll is missing

If that doesn't resolve the issue you may also need to reinstall LR as suggested.

Did you try reinstalling the program, as the message suggested?

Thank you. Reinstalling the missing .dll solved the problem.  Not sure how it got clobbered, but your fix worked.
