Hi,


Does anyone have a solution for this problem: I downloaded Lightroom from adobe, then when I enter my serial number they tell me that my serial is correct but no product are found that matches this serial number. And when I try to select on the side which Lightroom I got they only show me Lightroom 1 to 5 but not 6!

I just bought a new MacBook Pro and can't make it works on my new computer.

Any ideas?

Did the installation complete?

Launch Finder and go to:

Applications >> Adobe Lightroom >> Adobe Lightroom

Do you see the application on your MBP?

Yes of course I have the application on my computer but using the trial because my serial doesn't work. As if when you download Lightroom cc you can't get Lightroom 6.

If you have the trial installed it will be the creative cloud version which does not need a serial number. Follow the instructions below to activate as LR6.

Launch Lightroom and click “Continue Trial”

Go to the menu and click:

Help >> Sign Out

Quit Lightroom & Re-launch.

In the Adobe Lightroom Sign-in dialog click “Sign in Now”  (do not sign-in to Creative Cloud if prompted)

After sign-in click “License this Software” and enter the serial number.

Is the earlier version insalled on a different computer?

If so, select LR5 from the list (or your version number) and enter the serial number for LR5 and click suivant

Then follow with the LR 6 serial number.

The problem is I only own Lightroom 6!

And I didn't buy any previous version of Lightroom.

They tell me that my product doesn't have the access for their phone line!!

This is why I tried here...

I know they want everyone to get the CC version of everything but now I bought it and I want it to work!
