Adobe Voco Beta Scam Site?

I know lots of people here are very excited about Project Voco demonstrated on stage last fall. However, in searching for interesting news about the project, I came across what appears to be a scam site at vocobeta dot com.

Two questions: One, this is a scam, right? Some parts look legit, but the copy and the icon design are a little off. Two, if it's real, should I expect to get into a beta group if I sign up, or is this just collecting emails?

I had a look, and this absolutely screams of SCAM! The dead giveaway is that bit at the end which says:

"If you done the points above, you just need to wait for our answer."

It's not English. I seriously don't believe that this would have been let out in this form if it was legit... it has all the hallmarks of a Phishing site.

Agreed, Steve. It definitely looks like a phishing scam. It just seemed a little more elaborate than most other phishing sites I've seen. And I wanted to make sure somebody at Adobe knew of its existence.

Oh, they do now! Apparently if you look at the html for the site, it becomes blatantly obvious.

Damn, I just entered my name and email-address. ... I am a bit tired after work, my english is not the very best (not my native language) and now i feel like an Idiot about sending out my personal Data xD.

It is Scam. - But it would be nice, if, one day, there would come a real Beta, one could apply for.

I think that this is unlikely, as I've explained elsewhere. If VoCo ever makes it to tangible code,it's likely to be as an app in something like Audition, simply because it needs a front-end in order to work. Adobe isn't noted for reinventing the wheel, and Audition already has one - if you see what I mean...

But don't take this as gospel - it's only my view.

Also recently came across this page when looking for interesting news about Adobe Voco. Definitely a scam because of the redirect to a dodgy page after entering your message. I don't think Adobe give away iPhone 8s (not that they've been launched yet) to beta testers!

How is Adobe letting this shenanigans go on? The site's hosted in Poland and the domain has private Enom registration, but you'd think there would be some way to kill the site, or at least have it flagged in search results.

That's five minutes I'm not getting back! Plus I really really want to be part of that beta!
