Hi all.

I know that InDesign CS6 is not compatible with El Capitan, but it runs fine on this Mac and my client doesn't want to change it with CC.

The problem is that the App crashes sometimes: I mean, it works fine for 3-4-5 or 6 hours and then, it start to crash a lot times in half hours.

Restarting, reinstall or others does not change anything.

I've here a crash report if you need it.

Any help is welcome. Tnx in advance

CS6 ist not supported on El Capitán. It works better if you have the version from the CC subscription as common elements are updated with the CC versions. If you have the permanent version, without CC subscription you encounter more problems, therefore you have to live with these problems or downgrade your OS to 10.10.

CS6 will never be updated to work fine with 10.11 or later.

The safest thing would be to recommend that you upgrade to InDesign CC2015/2017.

BTW, you have 8.0, but there are many updates to this version, at least 8.1 is possible.

Someone may be along with other suggestions but you definitely need to patch InDesign. That said, there are users that never get CS6 to work on 10.11 or 10.12. while others seemingly have no problems.

Additionally, please do not post crash reports here. Post them on pastebin.com and provide a link to it here.
