Dear fellow users, I need your help.
Since I updated to the latest version of Photoshop 2017.1.0 some time last week (April 20th or so), I found a small change in the Paths panel.
When I try to change the stacking order of my paths, it does not behave the way it used to.
What happened before:
I drag the bottom path to the top, and the path that used to be on top, is now the second path.
What happens now:
I drag the bottom path to the top, and the path that used to be on top, now changes position with the path I'm dragging, hence it is now at the bottom!
I work with many paths in my files and the stacking order is important, so me and others who use my files can easily find the right paths to use.
Now... I end up spending a lot of time rearranging the stacking order by hand, and I have no idea if this is a bug, a setting I can't find, or a new feature that cannot be changed!
Anyone know how to get rid of this 'feature'?
Your help is greatly apprechiated.
Whoa, hadn’t noticed that before; what a strange change!
At a quick search I could not find an existing bug report on this over at
so you may want to post one unless someone can offer a solution here.
You really think it's a bug?
Alright, I'll post a bug report then.
