Hi Szalam. Thanks for your help. I sent the crash report to an Adobe tech on the phone and he said that it was the graphics card and that I needed to update it. I didn't really diagnose it so I can't give any more detail 😞

What I did do was to go back to the non-updated version of AE so that i could work in it. Not the best solution but I'm not having the problem anymore.

Went through crash report and it looks like it's my graphic card.

I have a feeling that Apple are going to make me pay to upgrade my graphics card. Also was that outlined as a prerequisite for the new 2017.2 AE update??

Very annoying-- going back to old version. 😞

You shouldn't need to upgrade your GPU to prevent AE from crashing.

Also, you can't upgrade the GPU at all in a MacBook anyway.

Could you explain in a lot more detail about the issues you are experiencing?
