    Resizing using just width

    FocusedOnBristol Level 1

      Hi everyone,

This is my first post on here, so I hope this works ok.

I have been asked to provide some photos for a blog. I have been asked to send them in the following sizes-

      For landscape - 2048 px wide @72dpi

      For portrait - 1365 px wide @72dpi

I have not done this before. When I export from lightroom and select 'resize to fit' which dropdown do I use? Can I use the same for both portrait and landscape photos? e.g Long Edge, Short Edge. The lack of height dimensions is confusing me.

Any pointers would be most appreciated.

      Thank you

      Rich

Create a Collection with the photos you was to upload to the blog and then select this collection.

In Library Grid use the Top Filter bar Metadata tab to Filter for Aspect Ratio.

Click on Portrait and export all the files with this setting in Export

Then click of Landscape and change the export setting to this
