While Using Adobe Audition, File > Export function, Export with Adobe Media Encoder, the dialog box message states "waiting for Adobe Media Encoder" and it does not load.  What should I do to insure that the Audition software finds Adobe Media Encoder properly?

Hi Lamia,

The first thing to check to make sure the send from Audition to Adobe Media Encoder (AME) works correctly is that you are on the current, matching versions. I just did a test on my end with the latest versions from the Creative Cloud app:

Audition: 2017.1 (or 10.1.0.174 is the full version)

AME: 2017.1 (or 11.1.0.170 is the full version)

You can find the version numbers in the About box inside the application. I did a test with those versions and sending from Audition to Adobe Media Encoder worked.

Let me know if you have those versions and are still not able to send between them.

Cheers,

Matt
