lightroom wont work (configuration error) error 1? please help

Hi,

I am having trouble opening lightroom in cc.

At first ( nothing ) would happen when I clicked the icon so I signed out of creative cloud then back in but this didn't fix it,  after restarting my pc and retrying everything several times I decided to uninstall and re-install lightroom,  windows gave me a notification to say it was installed and it reappeared in creative cloud now when try to open it I get a msg that says configuration error please uninstall and re-install (error 1) so I have tried this a number of times to no avail.

I cant find any threads relating to (error 1)

Have you tried uninstalling Lightroom then running the CC Cleaner Tool then re-booting then re-installing?
