I am reading a good deal about converting a MUSE site to WP, does anyone have experience with this:

• Is it theWordPress ADMIN panel that is employed...

• What about eCommerce solutions like WooCommerce? Is the conversion suitable to use with WooCommerce...

There's lots out there on the internet but I don't know how reliable any of it is. Thanks.

All you ever do with those hacks is create a "Theme" in WP terms, or more to the point not even exactly that. You just create a facade that hooks up to some dynamic functions to render content into specially tagged regions. MuseXPress offeres WooCommerce integration of course, but at the end of the day it's really a question of how much money you want to spend signing up to all those different services to keep your site running.

musetowordpress.com, that is the solution. Your Muse projects will work on wordpress, as well as most plug-in via sohortcodes. It is also free.
Also supports Woocommerce, only for subscribers for only $ 1 a month

use Muse or wordpress... one or the other is my best advice for new comers because mixing the two is not user friendly
