HELP US SENIORS
Well I would suspect not.
The context menu is assigned to "Objects".
That way some objects can have one and others not as well as the menu items can vary based on the underlying object.
The swf loaded has many objects exposed - like buttons and text and images and ...
What context menu have you assigned to those objects? ...none I suspect.
@gsb, contextMenu _does_ actually display over SWFLoader, but does not trigger an event. please read more careful.
Please check the BLOG.FlexExample's Post and read "Raza"'s Comment.
I have only used SWF2 SWF's loaded and the context menu there.
I am sorry but I have not used SWF3 loads (which I assume you are using.)
And yes, I will brush up on my reading skills too. ;-)
I personally load SWF v2 movie into SWFLoader and use LocalConnection to manage it.
Adobe's documentation states that "SWFLoader will never have focus" so I cannot understand how and why it consumes (or does it?) my MENU_ITEM_SELECT.
I've also tried to put a hidden MovieClip above the loader and bind the contextMenu to it, but effect is the same. I suppose contextMenu is somehow globally bound?
Sorry, if u mind it.
@manofspirit ... "Sorry, if u mind it."
No. Not at all. My mistake not yours. ;-)
however, we still didn't come to any solution yet ; )
what if we embed that swf in VBox's background? (jst an idea)
how would you like to do it?
In my case, Im using Clouds in the background. I have nothing to do with swf communication. So i think this swf can be embed as a background image style in the VBOX.
In this way we dn have to mess with SWF Loader.
Am i going right?
It accepts only flash symbol :S
is there anybody who knows the solution?
