Lines thicken on their own after being drawn?

Hey everybody,

So I've been having this issue ever since I started using a tablet, and have finally had enough.

For some reason, after drawing lines or even just dots on my tablet, occasionally the line/dot will thicken and become 100%

opaque a split second after I remove my pen from the tablet, regardless of it's previous thickness/opacity. This is an

especially annoying issue when it comes to shading or blending. Oftentimes I'll be working on tiny details when suddenly a

solid line just pops up on my drawing. I know it's not my tablet's problem, as I've changed tablets without the issue disappearing.

Can anyone help?

I use an Intuos Pro Small, if it matters.

You say you have changed the tablet, but what about the driver?  It sounds like inconsistant line thickness, which is a known Wacom driver issue.  Make sure you have the latest driver for the tablet and see if that fixes things.
