Crashes

I have tried to open the app on my phone to be able to work while at certain places. It crashes and it reboots my phone. It's with the only app it does it. Is there a bug or an issue going on with Photoshop Mix for mobile? It's very frustrating when you're about to open the app and it reboots the phone.

Is there a certain function at which it crashes? Like exporting or using a tool?

Have you tried to clear the cache and cookies in your device setting and reboot your device to try again and check the functioning of the app?

Yes ma'am. I even did a factory reset on my iPhone.

cleared everythin. But it still crashes and reboots my phone automatically

It says is the 2.7 Release.

I was only able to get that info before it crashed and restarted my phone.

But I don't have that issue on my iPad Pro.

Hi I am from Photoshop Mix team, could you help record a video, could you also include the General - > About page in iOS settings in the video, we want to know your iOS version, Model to see if we can find same device to reproduce this problem.

That is great news. Adding one app at a time back on as you need it might help find the culprit.

Ping: I am sorry, but it has been too long since I had successfully avoided the crash. I don't remember which one(s) caused the trouble. It *might* have been a photo filter type app. sorry.

Thanks for the video, looks like Mix can't deal with some photos in the camera roll.

To help us isolate the problem, could you help me try below things:

1. Launch Photoshop Mix, select an image from other folder instead of "Camera Roll" to see, if it crashed or not.

2. After you do factory reset, there should be no photos in your album. At that time, Mix didn't reboot the phone, right? When did the reboot start to happen?

3. Did this crash happen on previous version of Mix?

Sorry, for the first question:

Do you mean, it also reboots the phone after select other folder except "Camera Roll"?

Thanks for the info.

Here is a suggestion of avoiding this crash:

1. Go to iOS settings.
2. Scroll down to find Photoshop Mix.
3. Under Graphics Interface, choose OpenGL 3.0 instead of Metal. Please see attached screenshots.
4. Kill Photoshop Mix and relaunch it.  

If you see any difference after changed the settings, could you let me know, it helps a lot to isolate the problem?

I have had this happen with other mobile apps in the past where it crashes on one device, but not another. I have found that the culprit has been third party webapps that have conflicting issues with the wanted app. Usually silly games that my kids like to play with. Finding the culprit takes a little bit of figuring out the apps that might have been installed around the time the crashes started.
