Can I use Live View from the 60D in Lightroom (I have it turned on and see it in LCD monitor, but not in LR interface)? I can use the tethered capture to snap a preview (not ideal), is there a preview-like functionality where the image is not saved in the roll? ... also, cannot control camera settings... is any of this possible? I know this is an older camera model with tech limitations, hence my questions...
Also, is there a difference in capturing tethered in RAW directly into LR, vs capturing RAW in-camera and transferring from memory card?
LR does not offer these features. Try with the EOS utility software from Canon which has all the features you need. Tell the software to save images to a target folder and set LR to auto-import from a watched folder.
RAW is RAW - there is no difference.
Thanks. That Canon software looks like it was designed in 1999... but the functionality is there.
