Hi,

I would like to add Mojikumi to an existing script. I found the mojikumi table but am not sure how to use it in a script. How do I set the mojikumi to "simple Chinese" or to "line and all"?

Adobe InDesign CS6 (8.0) Object Model JS: MojikumiTable

Thanks

BSF

Hi,

after a quick search on the web:
ドキュメントで使用中の禁則と文字組みアキ量設定を表示 | mg:note

Don't know how to work with that.
Maybe this is enlightened:

InDesign Help | Composing CJK characters

What is your version of InDesign on what OS ?
I could be wrong, but I think, it would require a Japanese InDesign with a Japanese composer.

Regards,
Uwe

Hm.

If something helped, could you post a commented code sample?

Also: InDesign version and OS version.

I would like to know if you needed a Japanese version to accomplish what you wanted…

Thanks,

Uwe

I am on Adobe InDesign CS6 on Windows 8.

I do not have a Japanese version of InDesign, in case that's what you are asking. I have a US/EN version. But you do have to set the composer to Japanese.

Here is how to set Mojikumi:

app.documents.everyItem().stories.everyItem().mojikumi = MojikumiTableDefaults.LINE_END_ALL_ONE_HALF_EM_ENUM;
