    Flex as embedded UI

    pacflexer
I am evaluating Flex for an embedded application UI. There are some Linux drivers that need to be used to access specific hardware. Any suggestions on how well Flex can handle this?

Maybe whatever you're embedding it in can do this. I have instructions for
how to set up two-way communication for a Flex app embedded in Authorware
          here:

While I doubt you're embedding in Authorware, you can probably use those
instructions as a jumping off point.
