Hello,
I have been using Adobe Elements to edit video for a while now with a conventional microphone. I recently bought a Rode NT-USB microphone, and now whenever I try to narrate, I get the message 'audio dropout detected'.
I know the mic is working, the little multicolor mic sensitivity bar is jumping back and forth with my speech, and the audio file shows up in the window. But when i try to play it back I get 'audio dropout detected' and no sound at all. I plugged the old conventional mic back in, and it worked fine.
I also recorded sound using microsoft sound recorder on the new usb mic, and it worked fine.
Thank you for the help.
