Eyedropper Tool not working?

I updated photoshop to latest version and now when i hit shirtcut for the eyedropper photoshop selects the material eyedropper tool and turns the eyedropper tool into the "3 dot edit toolbar menu" which I have to click to get the eyedropper back.   Has something changed? did I do something?  Or is this just more broken Adobe Lemon Custard?

Nevermind I fixed it using the toolbar editor which is a nice feature but why did photoshop by default get rid of the entire eyedropper menu from toolbar and replace it with stupid 3d material eyedropper?  Stupid Adobe idiots.
